Sandra's 2022 Holiday Gift Guide For Francophiles

If you’re looking for gift ideas for your Francophile friends, or just love the quality, artistry and style of products made in France, read on!

Gift Ideas from France

Last year I shared a few of my favorite French gift ideas which I was getting for my Francophile girlfriends. I loved exchanging lists with all of you who commented or came into the store to share French stories. So, let’s make it a tradition! Here’s my latest gift guide for 2022…

Stoneware vinegar pot by Manufacture de Digoin

Since 1875, the Manufacture de Digoin has used its craftsmanship expertise to shape garden and culinary products. This stoneware vinegar pot is the perfect gift for a cook enthusiast! A beautiful piece to display in the kitchen. Learn more about Digoin and shop the pottery here.

Illustrated scarf by Marin Montagut

The Jardin du Luxembourg is one of my favorite gardens, right near my new apartment in 6th arrondissement of Paris! This scarf, beautifully illustrated by Marin Montagut, is a piece of art, a memory of Paris, and a fun fashion piece all in one! Learn more about Marin Montagut and shop the scarf here.

Paris scented candle by Marin Montagut

Another gift idea from Marin Montagut (because we love his artwork so much!) is this candle. The packaging in a cylinder container with Marin’s Parisian map illustration is so unique that it requires no extra gift-wrapping. The burnt-wood scent makes for the perfect winter gift! Learn more about Marin Montagut and shop the scarf here.

Néféli Collection Perfume by Fragonard

Fragonard has been a perfume house since 1926, founded in Grasse, France - the perfume capital of the world. Their soaps, candles, perfumes and diffusers are created in-house by “nez” or noses (perfume experts). Every detail is accounted for, from the beautiful packaging to the delightful fragrances. You can never go wrong with a Fragonard gift! My personal favorite collection is the Néféli soap that comes with a porcelain dish soap. Learn more about Fragonard and shop the Néféli soap here.

Sweet Paris book by Frank Adrian Barron

This dazzling cookbook, Sweet Paris, features 59 seasonal dessert recipes with American and French influences, accompanied by exquisite photographs. Inside you’ll find tips on serving and hosting with French flair for any occasion, from a casual afternoon teatime to an intimate dinner party or festive holiday gathering. Shop the book here.

Necklace by Alix D. Reynis Jewelry

Alix D. Reynis is an artisan of French porcelain and jewelry, inspired by ancient civilizations and made with gold vermeil (gold plating over sterling silver). I’ve been wearing her collier India (Indian necklace) almost daily throughout the year. It’s dainty and the perfect match for any outfit! Learn more about Alix D. Reynis and shop the necklace here.

Notebook by Antoinette Poisson

A Paris chez Antoinette Poisson was founded by Vincent Farelly and Jean-Bapstiste Martin, both heritage restorers specializing in wallpaper. Inspired by 18th Century decorative arts, they’ve mastered the savoir-faire of domino paper and use their designs throughout a variety of products including hand-stitched notebooks! Learn more about Antoinette Poisson and shop the notebook here.

Tableware by Degrenne

 https://www.degrenne.com/collections-menu/tableware-collections-menu/l-couture.html

Degrenne is a made-in-France tableware brand that works with two materials: porcelain and stainless steel. My favorite collection is the “L Couture” which mimics delicate French lace on the rim of their plates; it’s a discreet yet luxurious detail that completely transforms a tablescape! Learn more about Degrenne and shop tableware here.

I hope my list helps to find the perfect gift for your loved ones!
