A Provence Tour & Paris Book Launch
I am still basking in the glow of my recent 2-week trip to France, first co-hosting a floral and garden trip in the beautiful region of Provence, followed by an exciting book-launch party in Paris for my book French Blooms!
Provence Floral & Gardens Tour
The Provence tour was truly magical, joining forces with both Sharon Santoni of My French Country Home, and Lucy Hunter, author of The Flower Hunter, to co-host another beautiful tour through the South of France. Our group had the opportunity to explore some of the most charming and picturesque gardens and chateaus in the region, while enjoying the beauty and splendor of Provence.
The tour also included strolls through provencal markets where we could find art and pottery from local artisans, herbes de Provence, and some antiques. Of course, I brought some treasures home for the shop! You can find them in our new arrivals.
In addition to the beautiful scenery, it was the people I met and the moments we shared that made this trip so memorable. I am grateful for the camaraderie and friendships that blossomed among us, and the opportunity to share our love of gardening and flowers together.
Parisian Book Launch
After the 6-day tour, it was on to Paris for the launch party for my book French Blooms. I held the fête (party) at my friend Adrienne’s flower shop, L’Arrosoir, in the beautiful 11th arrondissement. The shop was filled with huge containers of flowers, along with beautiful floral arrangements in antique vessels, and hand-tied bouquets sprinkled throughout. The fragrance alone was intoxicating!
The love and support shown by everyone who came out to celebrate with me was overwhelming. Seeing so many people come together to support my new book and my passion for flowers and France was genuinely humbling. I am grateful for every person who took the time to attend and for those who have supported me throughout my floral journey.
Merci to all who made those two weeks so unforgettable.
XOXO,
Sandra
