CBS Boston New England Living Features Sandra Sigman
While I was in my garden the other day, I was reflecting on how busy I’ve been since the beginning of 2024. It’s been a true blessing to have so many incredible moments, and I feel privileged to be able to share them with you.
It was while walking among the flowers in my garden, reminiscing about these events, when I realized I nearly forgot to share with you, my dear blog readers, about my TV appearances earlier this month! So, without further ado, read on to learn about my features on CBS Boston WBZ-TV, with a few memories behind the scenes at the Morning Mix.
The Morning Mix Live
The day after I returned from my wonderful trip to Provence, I had the honor of presenting at a live taping of New England Living This Weekend with the Morning Mix! Although creating fun little tutorials on Instagram is always a blast, live TV brings a whole new level of excitement.
Stepping into the CBS News station in Boston felt like walking into Disney World for the first time. The behind-the-scenes action was absolutely fascinating. From the film room brimming with screens to waiting in the green room for my turn, every moment was an eye-opener into how these shows come to life.
When it was my time to go on, Kate Merrill and Breana Pitts were so welcoming and put me at ease instantly. We had so much fun together as I demonstrated how to create a very quick and easy hand-tied bouquet — which can be recreated at home with flowers from your local flower shop!

After the taping, my Fleurette Félicie and I had a blast running around the studio, pretending to be newscasters. We even tried reading the teleprompters and snapped a few photos at the news desk. It was a playful experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Adding to the excitement a few days later, my episode with New England Living aired, perfectly timed for Mother’s Day!

The experience was equally as fun, welcoming Rachel Holt and the film crew into the shop to talk about flowers, France, and this petite Andover floral shop.

While I don’t see myself trading in my shears for a teleprompter, the opportunity was exciting and lots of fun. We couldn’t have been more welcomed by the CBS News family, which made the whole experience even better.
I hope you enjoyed these tutorials! Maybe I’ll be back for more soon...
A bientôt,
Sandra
