A New Mural
A New Landscape at Les Fleurs
Ever since we moved Les Fleurs into the shop at 27 Barnard Street in 2010, we’ve worked on turning this space into a Francophile’s paradise — with aged wood floors, patinaed doors, old wooden tables and zinc watering cans.
You’ve all followed along as we’ve changed the shop season by season, but today marks a different kind of transformation—a shift that adds a timeless allure to our shop.
What’s In Store
Upon stepping inside, you'll now be greeted by the breathtaking sight of our new mural: a captivating forest scene which will transport you to the idyllic landscapes of the French countryside. Painted on a plaster wall inside the shop, the mural is reminiscent of the frescoes on lime plaster walls of old French chateaus.
An Artistic Touch
What makes the mural even more special is that it was painted by our very own Noelle Proulx-Decain. Not only does Noelle have a skill for designing stunning floral arrangements, but she's also an incredible artist whose talent shines through every stroke of her brush.
Behind the Scenes
We're thrilled to share some behind-the-scenes photos and a video of the mural's progress, showcasing the dedication and craftsmanship that went into its creation. It took a week of meticulous work to bring this enchanting vision to life, and the result is truly mesmerizing!
We're absolutely in love with this new addition to our space, as it infuses a sense of tranquility and beauty to our petite (little) French shop. We’d love to hear from you — what are your thoughts on our new forest mural?
We hope you’ll stop by the shop to see it soon!
XOXO,
Sandra & the Fleurettes
