Antique French bridal marriage vase made of white Porcelain de Paris, with ornate appliques and a creamy patina glaze.

Beginning in 1800s France, porcelain wedding nuptial vases / bridal vases were gifted to newly married couples to be filled with flowers from the bridal bouquet and placed under a Globe de Mariée (a glass dome), displayed with other wedding souvenirs. An elegant mid-century lead crystal champagne ice bucket in Art Deco with hand-cut lines and chunky handles. The Taittinger Comtes de Champage insignia is embossed in gold on the face of the bucket.
