Provence 2024 Tour Recap
I recently had the pleasure of joining Sharon Santoni of My French Country Home and Lucy Hunter on a beautiful Provence getaway this past April. There’s nothing I love more than exploring France with a group of Francophiles and flower lovers! Throughout the week, we explored the historic villages of the French countryside, strolled through exquisite gardens, and attended floral workshops during our stay at the enchanting Domaine de Chalamon.
Le Domaine de Chalamon
Sharon found the perfect location for us to call home for the week. We stayed at Le Domaine de Chalamon, a charming estate with beautiful green shutters, majestic cypress trees, classic stone urns and a peaceful French garden. The serene ambiance of the Domaine provided a perfect backdrop for our daily adventures and relaxation.
A Floral Affair
You can’t bring three garden enthusiasts together without hosting a beautiful floral workshop! We had a delightful time teaching our guests the art of floral arrangement. Lucy shared her expertise from her landscaping and floral photography background, while I offered insights from my French fleuriste (floral shop) training. Together, we guided our guests in creating stunning floral masterpieces, each reflecting the beauty and elegance of Provence.
The Beauty of Provence
Our group had the opportunity to explore some of the most charming and picturesque gardens, markets and villages in the region. Each day, we wandered through the vibrant landscapes, admiring the lush greenery and vibrant blooms that Provence is renowned for.
One of my favorite moments was strolling the charming village of Eygalières, surrounded by the stunning landscape of the Alpilles mountain range. What a treat!
The memories of Provence will stay with us all forever. I’m grateful to have shared this incredible journey with such wonderful people and look forward to our next floral escapade!
XOXO,
Sandra
