ABOUT angela

Angela Liguori - Studio Carta

As the daughter of a dressmaker, born and raised in Rome, Angela grew up immersed in the tactile. From her early studies in Renaissance Art History and book binding in Bologna, to her various art residencies in the USA, Angela continues to bring the craftsmanship and artistry of her Italian heritage to every creation.

In 2004, she interwove her passion for paper and design into a showroom, shop, workshop, and studio space. Studio Carta has since expanded its reach globally through Italian-made ribbons and accessories as well as through its collaborations with world-renowned designers and behind-the-scenes studio tours.
