ZZ Plant
ZZ (Zamioculcas Zamiifolia
Place in bright to low light
These plants store water in their stems, so only water when the soil is completely dry
If the plant is in direct sunlight, it may need water once every 2 weeks
If it’s in lower light and not direct sun, watering once a month is sufficient
Place your plant on a saucer if it has a drainage hole to collect excess water and to protect your floor
Fertilize with an organic fertilizer each time you water your plant
During the fall and winter stop all fertilizing. Resume in spring and summer
Occasionally rinse or wipe off any dust that builds up on the leaves to allow the plant to breathe
ZZ plants thrive in tight pots. They should not need to be repotted for a few years
When repotting, you should only increase the pot size (diameter) by 2-4 inches at a time
Always wait until spring or summer to repot
