Flowering in France and Beyond

For as long as I can remember, I have loved teaching. I started teaching Sunday school when my children were young and I now teach floral design through lectures, workshops and day to day arranging at Les Fleurs. To be able to create, lecture and design with others is a dream come true.

My First Teacher

My mom, who was my first floral teacher, had the biggest influence on me. She guided me through every design, from bridal bouquets to large arrangements, always providing encouragement along the way. I’m often reminded of my mother as her lessons have shaped how I teach.

Always Learning

No matter your expertise, there is always room to learn. While my love of flowers drives me to study new ideas, I also gain insight from my clients. Even after 25 years, my unique style continues to evolve.

Your Creative Style

My floral workshops are gentle reminders that each of us has our own unique strengths and gifts. While guiding old and new floral friends how to prepare and arrange flowers, I’m also a floral cheerleader, encouraging individual style. It’s just as rewarding for me to see the participants’ expressions of pride when they finish, as they are filled with new energy driven by their own creativity.

Be in the Moment

Trust me… In today’s world it is so easy to get busy and not take time for ourselves.  This is why my classes and workshops are so special to me. On my tours to France, I always carve out a day for our ladies to play with flowers and take in the beauty of the chateau. It’s a time for each of us to breathe, form new friendships, and be present among the beauty of flowers. I try to achieve this balance each day in my own life and it gives me a great sense of peace.
