Signs of Spring

The month of March brings with it the promise of spring. We sit eagerly awaiting longer days when the sun shines a little brighter. Trees are starting to bud and you might even notice the first signs of tulips and daffodils sprouting through the garden on a warm sunny day. These are the moments that I yearn for after a cold, snowy winter here in New England.

Spring Flowers

Many signs beckon us to share our excitement for this season, especially this year. For me, it’s seeing all the floral varieties available this time of year. Tulips, sweet peas, ranunculus and hyacinth are a few, but honestly, I love them all. Another spring favorite is the poppy flower, with its magical papery petals.

I could bundle them all together in one vase and feel like I’m in Holland for a quick minute. This is how flowers transform me and I hope they brighten your mood too.
