French Blooms Turns One

As I sit on the flight back from Paris, the memories of our spring antique-buying tour are still fresh in my mind. But let me not get ahead of myself; I promise to share every delightful detail about the trip soon. That recap deserves a blog of its own!

A French Blooms Milestone

In the meantime, I haven’t forgotten about the big milestone coming this month when my book French Blooms will celebrate its one-year anniversary! As French Blooms turns one, I thought it would be a good time to reflect and thank all of you who’ve given my first book such a warm welcome.

What a Difference a Year Makes

I can’t believe how quickly the year has flown by. Between book signings & floral demonstrations, gearing up for exciting French tours, unveiling our new store mural, and of course, the whirlwind adventure in Paris, it feels like the time has slipped through our fingers.

It's surreal to think about how far we've come since the book’s publication. Along the way, it’s been incredibly gratifying to read your comments and receive your well-wishes, and what a treat to meet so many of you in person! Whether at a book signing event or simply bumping into you at the shop, getting to share these moments truly fuels my soul.

Floral Connections

I was reminded of these connections recently when I had the privilege of addressing 200 members of the historic Garden Club of Norfolk (in Norfolk, Virginia) for a floral lecture and demonstration. Standing there, surrounded by fellow enthusiasts, discussing our shared love for France and flowers, was nothing short of heartwarming. Moments like these reaffirm why I set out to create this book — to share our passion, whether in person, online, or through the pages of my book. Your unwavering support has been my greatest reward.

As a believer in the beauty of simplicity, I'm hopeful that the next year of French Blooms continues to be about reconnecting with the things that bring us joy — things that make our hearts sing.

Here’s to spring and beautiful blooms.

XOXO,
Sandra
