I’ve always been a “paper person”—someone who still finds joy in putting pen to paper, writing reminders, and circling special days. So when my publisher Rizzoli approached me about creating a French Blooms calendar for 2026, I was absolutely thrilled!
A Family Tradition
Working on the calendar brought me right back to my childhood. I remember that my mother always had a calendar hanging in our kitchen; it was how our busy family of six kept track of school events, birthdays, and family gatherings. Years later, with young children of my own, I continued that same tradition. To this day, I still have a calendar hanging in my kitchen—proof that some rituals are timeless!
