Chinese Evergreen

Chinese Evergreen (Aglaonema)

  • Place in medium to low light. Does not need direct sun

  • Allow the top 3-4 inches of soil to dry before watering each time

  • How often, depends on the light it is in

  • Its always safer to keep it dryer than too wet

  • Keep a saucer under pot, if your container has a drainage hole, to collect water and protect your floor

  • Fertilize with an organic fertilizer each time you water

  • Stop fertilizing during fall and winter, resume in spring and summer

  • This plant does well in a tight pot. Do not repot until it has outgrown the original pot

  • Only increase the pot size by 2-4 inches (diameter) at a time

  • The best time to repot is in spring or summer

  • This plant has a unique trick that removes toxins from the air in your home

  • Occasionally rinse or wipe off any dust that builds up on the leaves to allow the plant to breathe happy
