Stunning 19th century French silver serving utensils with engraved leaf designs, ornate repoussé handles, and Minerva* head stamps on the collar of each utensil. Sold individually.

Knife: 11” - heavy silver. Stamped PB with wheel inside rectangle
Fork: 10” - Stamped AB with hallmark inside square - (difficult to see)

Both utensils have the Minerva head mark, a profile of the Roman goddess used to denote the standard of a piece of French silver made after 1838. The title number 1 (.950 silver) or 2 (.800 silver) is difficult to see.
