Stunning 19th century oval relish dish by Faïencerie de Gien in the Rinceaux Vert pattern with a green paisely motif with tiny birds against the creamware plate.

The faïence* serving dish is known as a ravier - a small, oval serving dish used in French cuisine to serve hors d'oeuvres, snacks, or small cakes.
